INTERIOR DESIGN TRENDS FOR 2025
As 2025 gets well under way, we’re excited for another year of interior design within the world’s finest homes. We’re looking ahead with thoughts on the design trends we might expect to see from clients, partners and brands.
Darker Colours and Earth Tones
Last month Pantone released their 2024 colour of the year Mocha Mousse. It is a ‘warming, brown hue imbued with richness. It nurtures us with its suggestion of delectable qualities of chocolate and coffee, answering our desire for comfort.’ We love this delicious shade of delicious chocolate brown and can see how it will translate beautifully into interiors as a warm neutral tone. We’ve also seen a rise in demand from clients for darker tones within their homes that Mocha Mousse will compliment beautifully. Clive Christian cabinetry can be designed in a multitude of timbers and stains, but darker tones remain popular with clients creating a wonderful foundation to build the rest of their interior design around.
Art Deco Inspiration
The Art Deco movement made famous in the early 20th century, is making a comeback for 2025. This decorative style is characterised by simple, clean lines and shapes, geometric patterns and luxury materials. 100 years later, these design principles can be found at the heart of Clive Christian Interiors’ Metro Deco collection. This style nods to the Art Deco era with clean lines, flat panelled doors, hand pressed metallic inlays and fluted glass panels adding to the geometric appeal. The choice of inlays also harks back to the Art Deco glamour of luxurious materials. Alongside their cabinetry, our clients can choose from metals such as brass, steel or even luxury materials such as mother of pearl. Every Clive Christian Interiors project is completely bespoke, allowing our clients to create home designs truly unique to them whether through materials, timbers or colours.
Statement Lighting
While perhaps not a new trend, we only expect the interest in showstopping statement lighting to grow in 2025. In fact, statement lighting has been at the core of Clive Christian Interiors since its inception. Clive Christian himself decided to create the ultimate statement kitchen by placing a chandelier above his kitchen island in the 1970s, and 50 years later it has become Clive Christian Interiors’ iconic style. We are proud to be a brand partner of Baccarat, supplier of the finest crystal lighting and chandeliers and it is always an honour to work with them to light up our home designs.
