manhattan mansion kitchen
This New York City kitchen embodies all the elegance of the Art Deco period whilst maintaining a contemporary feel. Taking our award-winning Alpha Deco cabinetry as the base, the client called upon Clive Christian’s unique customisation skills for the approach to the bespoke cocktail cabinet. Continuing the Art Deco theme, the team took further inspiration from the 1930s glorious Orient Express Lalique panelling, where the glazed panels were used to separate the different compartments in their classic Pullman carriages. These exquisite Deco designs were incorporated into a cool walnut overmantle and the beautiful marquetry doors of the cocktail cabinet.
The combination of traditional methods of extraordinary British craftsmanship, bespoke customisation and by partnering with some of the most respected names in the world of interiors, resulted in a truly decadent room. A genuine reflection of the quality and style of this glamorous bygone era, brought straight into modern times at the heart of the home.
