MR WILSON'S RACING HERITAGE

WEYBRIDGE, SURREY

One of our most celebrated services is handcrafting statement kitchens.

After being a brand associate for nearly 30 years, Mr Wilson decided it was time to refresh his kitchen and add a personal touch to his much-loved space.

Being a member of the Brooklands Museum for many years, Alec wanted to celebrate the Banked Racing Circuit - a local piece of English Motorsport heritage. Brooklands was the world's first purpose-built circuit and the birthplace of The British Grand Prix.

To commemorate the racing circuit, Alec commissioned a marquetry panel for his Alpha Deco Kitchen Mantle. We proposed an Art-Deco inspired illustration which immortalised the famous Napier-Railton, defying gravity as it grapples with the trademark soaring embankments with John Cobb at the wheel.

Synonymous with the interiors of classic British motor cars, the panel consists of seven varieties of indigenous English veneer.

The panel contains seven varieties of veneer- all of which are synonymous with interiors of classic British motor cars - indigenous English varieties such as oak, walnut, chestnut and ash. Carefully hand finished and arranged into position the panel uses the natural grain formation to add depth to the simplistic, stylish shapes of the Alpha Deco surroundings.

We pride ourselves on providing elegant storage solutions. Opposite the marquetry mantle, our fitted cabinetry perfectly accommodates domestic appliances whilst conveniently concealing a breakfast pantry.

Our Alpha Deco collection reflects the Art Deco influences in a clean, crisp, contemporary style. Finished in Cool Walnut with White hand-painted fittings, this collection was perfect for Alec's renovated kitchen.
