CLIVE CHRISTIAN INTERIORS LAUNCHES IN LOS ANGELES
We’re thrilled to reveal our new US flagship showroom in Los Angeles, California, in partnership with Christopher Guy. You can find us at 8737 Melrose Avenue in the buzzing centre of this iconic city.
The new showroom hosts our most loved collections in addition to our latest designs, some for the very first time. Spread across a vast 7,600 sq ft, the showroom expands our presence in the US to the West Coast, an area internationally renowned for iconic architecture and high-end property.
The showroom features our largest display of the OPUS collection in the Ethereal cool-tone finish. Rather fittingly, the unique pattern adorning the OPUS cabinetry mirrors the pattern of an American ash tree. Intricate bark formations have been created through carefully selected carvings and pieced inlays. The result is really quite special and makes a striking entrance to the showroom.
Oliver Deadman, Head of Design at CCI, has created a series of artworks exclusively for the LA showroom fusing materiality and craftsmanship. Made using inlaid metal and our specialist marquetry, the first in the series can be seen in the Senate bar and lounge. The piece found above the fireplace was inspired by a local street artist and is a geometric representation of the iconic Californian palm tree. The palm’s outward fan of foliage has been recreated in a linear composition of monochrome inlaid veneers. It is complimented wonderfully by Baccarat’s chandeliers, creating a striking centrepiece for the room.
The showroom of course includes a stunning Architectural Kitchen, to display our most loved collection. Featuring rich dark timbers as well as a fresh white painted finish, the design displays the ornate detail typical of our statement kitchens. Stunning marble adorns the island and surrounding cabinetry, while the mantle features an elaborately designed marble backsplash. The mantle is a statement in itself, decorated with elaborate mouldings and pillars displaying the craftsmanship of the traditional Clive Christian style. Baccarat chandeliers again light up the kitchen as well as accessorising the space with their beautiful vases and glassware.
The Alpha Deco Dressing Room has been designed in a rich dark timber with bright pops of ‘Hermes orange’ leather lining the shelves and interiors of the cabinetry. This dressing room wouldn’t feel out of place in a luxury retail boutique, bringing the luxury of Rodeo Drive to your own home.
